On the 14th September 2017 I underwent surgery for a carcinoma of the inner cheek. The operation was performed by Mr Mark Singh and his team at the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford. From my first appointment onwards my care was planned by Mr Singh and undertaken in a professional and timely manner. The care included a biopsy, various scans, an anaesthetic assessment and a case conference. Mr Singh explained to my partner and me the various options, and indicated clearly both what would and what might occur with the surgical option. We were encouraged to ask questions and care was taken to ensure that we fully understood the procedures. Mr Singh was always approachable and understanding of all our concerns, which was reassuring and gave us confidence from the outset. Mr Singh's skill is such that following the surgery there is little change to my appearance. I have made very good progress and my vital functions, such as eating, swallowing and speech, have all returned to normal. I consider myself most fortunate and I am deeply grateful to Mr Singh who is an excellent, yet remarkably unassuming surgeon.

Mr Mark Singh had been looking after me for the last four months after him diagnosing me with Mouth Cancer. He had been absolutely fantastic through my cancer journey from diagnosing, operating and now confirming that the cancer is now showing no more signs of being there. You are an amazing Consultant Mr Singh and worth your weight in gold !

Dr Singh has been looking after my case since the beginning and I can honestly say that I would not want anybody else in his place. Been diagnosed with cancer is not a easy thing, but Dr Singh has made my journey a lot easier. Since day 1, he has been extremely easy to talk to, answering questions or explaining what would happen next, he have always taken the time to make sure I knew what was happening. He always had the best of interest for me. Surgery was a success and thanks to his expertise and knowledge I am very confident that I will be able to live a normal life after everything. Thank you very much Dr Singh I have had great care in your hands!

19 12 2017 I cant find enough words to than Mr Mark Sinh for the detaile of what he intendd. He has a vreyd to do, and his great concern for my wellfare. He a well suported by a dedicated tem to put every on e at ease I enjoyed my stay there. I cannot see any way the system can be improved.Many thanks to youal I have been out with our dog this morning. I might add I amin n, I had a good breakfast. I might add i hve nad no pain, i just feel bgeat, GEORGE NIVHAEL Thorndyke. HAVE A HAPPY CHRISTMAS.

This surgeon has taken care of me since February this year when I was diagnosed with oral cancer, and he performed a very successful operation on me in March From our first meeting I have been able to feel total confidence in this wonderful surgeon. He was very clear in explaining my treatment options, and although I did choose the option he would have favoured, he did not attempt to influence my decision. He has always been willing to handle all questions and concerns, even down to being very helpful with regard to the episode of depression into which I 'fell' (with a long history of this problem) after the operation, towards the end of April. The surgery itself was as non-invasive as it was possible for it to be given the location of the tumour, and healing and scarring have been swift and minimal respectively. I am still receiving various therapeutic inputs in order to maximise the recovery of my voice etc. I could not imagine having anyone being in charge of my cancer experience who could have been more helpful, accessible - and clearly accomplished. All those stars above aren't sufficient to express my appreciation of Mr. Mark Singh, hence this fairly lengthy comment. Your system does not allow me to say I was treated by Mrf. Singh at Broomfields Hospital, Chelmsford, Essex.
